Who We Are

The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (TCRPC) is a multi-purpose regional entity recognized by the state of Michigan. The TCRPC supports the region of mid-Michigan by planning for and coordinating intergovernmental solutions to growth-related problems, providing technical assistance to local governments and meeting the needs of communities across the region.

Regional News

• Christine Spitzley, TCRPC Environmental Programs Planner received recognition in The Aquifer Fall Newsletter for her efforts as co-chair of the American Water Works Association to engage more women in the water industry (see article).
• The Capital Area Health Alliance receives grant funding to implement and promote the Michigan Health & Wellness 4x4 Plan. TCRPC's Land Use Health and Resource Team participated in the development and supported this application for important health related efforts in our community!
• The tri-county region holds "Preferred Sustainability Status" for future grant applications. As an awardee of a $3M HUD Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Program, TCRPC has opened the door for our regional partners to gain consideration or additional points when applying for grant programs.
